A wellbeing company needed one app for meditation, focus and reflection that works for people on their own and for whole schools, handles minors properly, passes Apple review and takes payments on iPhone, Android and the web.
iOS and Android apps plus the web
Automated tests across the Flutter app
Automated tests on the Node.js API
A three person team from May 2026, ongoing
The short answer: we built a Flutter app for iOS and Android, a Node.js API on Supabase, a Next.js website and a React admin panel for a meditation and mind training product. It serves individuals and schools, gets parent consent for minors, takes Apple and Razorpay payments, and is covered by more than 2,800 automated tests.

The product had to work for an adult using it alone and for a school where students and teachers work in class groups. Many users are minors, so age checks, parent consent and privacy had to be built in from the start. The app also had to pass Apple review and charge correctly on iPhone, Android and the web.
We delivered the mobile apps, the API, the marketing website and an admin panel for the client’s team. Users check in daily, meditate, run focus sprints and track progress, schools run classes and assignments, and every account can export or delete its data. A large automated test suite keeps releases safe.
Students under 18 use the app, so it needs age checks, parent consent and careful handling of personal data.
Age and parent consent flows built into sign up, a PIN protected private journal, a readable data export and full account deletion.
Privacy controls built in rather than bolted on
Solo users and schools need different structures, from personal streaks to class groups run by teachers.
One account model with classes, leagues, join requests and teacher assigned tasks layered on top of the personal experience.
One app serving both audiences
Apple requires its own in app purchase for digital subscriptions on iPhone, while Android and the web needed a local payment provider.
Apple StoreKit in app purchase on iOS and Razorpay on Android and the web, reconciled into one subscription state on the server.
Subscriptions that work wherever the user signs up
A small team releasing often across apps, API and web risks regressions with every change.
About 680 automated API tests and more than 2,200 app tests, crash reporting with Sentry and automated iOS builds with Codemagic.

Start with one account model and add school structures on top: classes, teacher assigned tasks, join requests and class progress. Students and teachers then share the same meditation and focus features that individual users get.
The app checks age at sign up and asks for parent consent before a minor can use it fully. Data rights such as export and deletion are built in, and private content like a journal can be locked behind a PIN.
Yes. On iPhone, digital subscriptions go through Apple in app purchase, and on Android and the web a provider such as Razorpay can be used. The server keeps one subscription state so access is the same everywhere.
Flutter for iOS and Android from one codebase, a Node.js API on Supabase Postgres, Firebase for Google sign in, and Next.js and React for the website and admin panel worked well here.
This product was built by a team of three engineers starting in May 2026, covering the mobile apps, API, website and admin panel, with work continuing.
